Last Day

The glorious vacation is ending. What a sad sad day. I think the city agrees because I saw lots of flags at half staff today. Yes, it is a day of mourning. ... Too much? Yeah, maybe. Anyways. The hubs and I have been sitting out on our back steps just watching the birds go by this week. Trying to slow things down, I suppose. Watch the world go by one inch at a time. We made all kinds of friends out there and didn't even have to leave the steps.

The spider is so small you can barely see him. That's my kind of spider. We'll let him live... for today.


Check out the size of this guy! I think he's kinda gross and he looks like he eats too much but the Mr. likes him.


We're keeping an eye on this guy. Our screen door has been open for weeks now because of him. Maybe he's just one of the two dozen that we have around here that just didn't make it? How long does it take to morph into another animal? Hopefully not much longer.


I'm thinking I need to get back on task. Next week is all shadows.
