Okay, pictures in a moment. I just had to share this woman... Valerie June. She's calls her music "Organic Moonshine Roots Music" and I think she got it right. And those dreads. I mean really? I'm dying over them!
Very folky... the music might not be my cup of tea but that hair... dying. It's also great to see her doing what she loves. No 9 to 5. She may have made it big(ger) singing pop or blues but she's doing what she loves... not what other people what to love.
Although the more I listen to it the more I love it.
She's ADORABLE!!! the combination of the voice, dreds, strumming and high cheekbones make her an angel! I love a good twang so the music suits me just fine - it'll grow on you :)
